The Ninth Day of Obamacare

35,000,000 Coverage Dropping:  According to an analysis by former CBO Director Doug Holtz-Eakin, the health care law “provides strong incentives for employers – with the agreement of their employees – to drop employer-sponsored health insurance for as many as 35 million Americans.”  Under such a scenario – also envisioned by outgoing Tennessee Governor Phil Bredesen, a Democrat – spending on federal insurance subsidies could be triple official projections, meaning the health care law would significantly increase the deficit.

On the ninth day of Obamacare, the government gave to me:

35,000,000                           Coverage dropping

222                                         Rules a-waiving

40,000,000                           Forms a-filling

7,400,000                             MA benes losing

0                                              Oversight hearings

159                                         Boards and programs

16,500                                   IRS agents

21                                           Federal lawsuits

And a health insurance mandate “fee”
