Leftists for Health Care Fraud, Cont’d
In today’s Wall Street Journal, Health and Human Services Secretary Kennedy and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services Administrator Oz have an op-ed discussing a campaign of perpetual litigation by Democracy Forward, a leftist organization, against the Trump Administration. They noted that one of said lawsuits, which led to a court blocking much of an anti-fraud rule issued last year, argues that Exchange subsidy recipients should never have to file tax returns to reconcile the subsidies they received (which are based on estimated income) with those they were entitled to based on actual income.
The op-ed portrays Democracy Forward’s myriad lawsuits seeking to perpetuate fraud on Exchanges as an exception to bipartisan support for program integrity measures. The reality shows they are far from the exception among Democrats and the Left. THAT is the bigger story.
